Technical Data
The Blastflow Siberian consists of 4 parts:
- Main Unit (the base)
- Threaded connecting unit
- Top cover
- Cooling plate
- The 'main unit' is a 10mm thick part made out of machined pure copper. The internals are machined down to 9mm , thus making it very efficient without restricting the flow.
- The 'threaded connecting unit' and the 'top cover' are made from delrin. Rubber o-rings are used in between them and the main unit. The liquid comes in contact only with the copper and delrin, thus avoiding any mixed metals corrosion.
The 'cooling plate' is made ouf of anodised aluminium. Currently there are cooling plates for:
- Nvidia 8800GTX - 5mm thick anodised aluminium
- Nvidia 8800GTS - 5mm thick anodised aluminium
- ATI HD2900 - 6mm thick anodised aluminium.
The cooling plate's thermodynamic design is able to provide cooling where is needed the most - Memory first and then VRMs/other parts. The contact in between the cooling plate and main unit is made with Arctic Silver 5
The Blastflow Siberian block and cooling plates are all designed and made in the UK
